Summer Literacy & Movement Program

Refund & Cancellation Policy

We are excited to provide a fun, engaging, and high-quality summer learning experience for

every Smart Cookie! Because program planning, materials, scheduling, and limited enrollment

spaces are carefully prepared in advance, we kindly ask families to review the following refund

policy.

REGISTRATION & PAYMENT

• A non-refundable deposit/payment is required to reserve your child’s spot in the program.

• Full payment must be completed by the stated due date to maintain enrollment.

REFUND POLICY

• Refund requests made 14 days or more before the program start date may receive a partial

refund minus the non-refundable registration fee/deposit.

• Refund requests made less than 14 days before the program begins are non-refundable due to

reserved placement, staffing, and preparation costs.

• No refunds will be issued once the program has started.

MISSED SESSIONS

• Refunds or credits will not be provided for missed classes, vacations, schedule conflicts, or

personal absences.

• Families are encouraged to attend consistently to receive the full benefit of the program.

PROGRAM CANCELLATION

• If Smart Cookies Academy must cancel a session or the full program due to unforeseen

circumstances, families will receive either:

• a make-up session,

• program credit, or

• a refund for the canceled portion.

VIRTUAL PROGRAM EXPECTATIONS

• Families participating in virtual sessions are responsible for ensuring access to a device and

internet connection.

• Technical difficulties on the participant’s end are not eligible for refunds.

SPECIAL CONSIDERATION

We understand that emergencies can happen. Exceptional circumstances may be reviewed on a

case-by-case basis at the discretion of Smart Cookies Academy.
